Indian Stone Patio, Lighting and Walling

The Project

This was a project which required a new patio, retaining wall and drainage.

The first job was to make the side pathway down the property wider so bins could pass more easily. Once the pathway had been doubled in width which required 40 tonnes of excavation, there was a huge amount of space and light added to the side of the property.
The retaining wall was now built.

On the patio and pathway a light grey Indian Stone was chosen. We framed the paving using a darker shade stone sett in which led lights were fitted.

The old lawn didn’t drain any water, so soak aways and land drains were added, this helped massively and allowed the water to actually go somewhere other than pooling on the surface.
