The Project

This was a project completed over different stages. The first phase being the garage basewhich we had to seek planning permission because the base was so close to a very old oak tree with a TPO.
Great care was needed in the excavation so no damage was caused to the tree roots.
Once the base was completed and the bottom coarses of bricks were laid it was time to move on to the driveway.

The driveway was constructed using a tumbled block with a dark block on the perimeter to compliment the grey window frames.

The next phase a couple of years later was to redesign to rear garden. During this project we created a raised lawn with new borders.
Oak sleepers were used Instead of the soft wood sleepers. The oak sleepers look much nicer and last a great deal longer.

With the sleepers and lawn fitted, the pathways and patio were laid using the same style block that we used on the front driveway.
